Venice Fellowship - Day 19

Today I joined the Internship team from The Peggy Guggenheim Collection on their trip to the medieval city of Mantua (Mantova) in the Northern reunion of Italy.

We went to see the Tiziano/Gerhard Richter 'Heaven on Earth' exhibition, which was about Titian's influence on Richter's practice. I will say that it didn't always seem to match up, and it needed much more information. But it was still fantastic to see some more works by Titian in person and get up close to Richter's oil paintings and prints.
